Marlborough and Bec Spa events
The Marlborough Wine Festival 13 February 2010. Always a favorite amoung guests.
Marlborough has over 150 wineries and in this single event you will be able to sample your favorite wines in one location, meet the wine-makers and owners behind the scenes and find out all the secrets to making the wine you love.
Seresin Estates' goumet food and wine dinners happen at different times of the year, usuallly November for the new release of wines, and then just after the wine festival.
The food is always delectable and the wines superb.
Classic Fighters Airshow in April. The airshow takes place in Blenheim every other year. April 2011 is the next show.
However the Omaka Aviation Centre is open year round and showcases the best collection of World War One planes south of the equator. Click here for more details.
Bec Spa makes an appearance on Mucking In
TV1's Mucking In, a show that features the community pitching in to revamp the garden of a deserving local, came to Marlborough. Bec Spa hosted Jen Hair while the local community, under the direction of the Mucking In landscape designer, worked to overhaul her garden.
